Happy 3rd Anniversary!!!

We celebrated our 3rd wedding anniversary on Monday! 3 years ago we were in Hawaii, on the North Shore of Oahu, getting married at the Turtle Bay Hilton. It was truly the best day of my life. 3 years later, we are expecting a baby!

We went to SEVERAL restraunts and they all had 1 - 2 hour waits. I guess everyone in DFW wanted to celebrate our anniversary with us! We eventually ended up at Taco Dinner, one of our favorites. We came home and watched our wedding DVD. We have decided to make it a tradition to watch it every year. It was such a beautiful wedding! We both were overflowing with happiness and love for each other. It was so neat to see ourselves like this. WE ARE SO BLESSED TO HAVE FOUND EACH OTHER!!!

Not exactly the Christmas we planned...

Merry Christmas! Isn't it funny how you can have all the plans in the world, but sometimes life just doesn't go the way you planned? Our Christmas is a perfect example of this! Mom, Mike, Chandler, Baby Rees and I are still in Lubbock while Jeff and his family are in Dallas celebrating Christmas today. We were supposed to leave yesterday (Christmas Eve) and drive to Dallas. God decided to give us a beautiful white Christmas and along with that came icy roads.

We thought, for sure, we could leave this morning and have Christmas in the Big D. Well, roads are still icy and parts of IH 20 are closed. Looks like we will be having Christmas in Lubbock this year, minus my hubby and his family. Yes, I am disappointed to not spend Christmas with Jeff but I am so very thankful to be here in Lubbock with my parents and the cutest little dog ever.

Speaking of cutest little dog ever, here's a picture of Chandler with my diabetes stuff in his mouth. Whenever we don't pay attention to him, he finds a way to get it. Just like a little kid :)

Baby Rees is doing good. We still don't have a name for him. In the running are Cooper, Cade, Carter and a few more possibilities. He is enjoying Christmas today, nice and snuggly in my belly. The past 3 nights, he has had the hiccups. So cute! He has also been VERY wiggly, trying to make room for himself. I'm surprised I don't have bruises on my ribs today from all of his kicking and wiggling from yesterday. Only a few more weeks until I get to meet my little guy :)
